My "vacation" starts now!..really I'll just be working on behind the scenes things to catch up from a busy summer, and prepare for a (hopefully) busy holiday season. Lots of work, just no baking.
All Inquiries already submitted will be responded to tonight, and although delayed, followed up throughout the week.

Coincidentally, I have no orders booked for September 1st to 8th, and I've been in major need of a break.
I've felt it accumulating for the last month. And as things pile up, the holidays draw closer, market season starting next week, and taking on some additional hours at work; I need to reset and get situated.

🐛 no introduction needed 🐛

So grateful for such an incredible order!
I've never done an 8"/6" Tiered Cake, and I love the ratio.
I used my caterpillar cookie cutter to stamp the rectangle cookies, to use as a guide. But otherwise everything was completely freehanded - as always!
I chose to only include the fruits to stay within a colour theme, but I love the simplicity and bright colours on the white background.
The Cookies match the Cake PERFECTLY, and I didn't even remotely try to colour match. And Royal Icing and Buttercream don't take to dye the same, so I'm especially happy with how everything came out.
I also loved the special request for Mini Cookies! I've made these once; for the Christmas Grazing Platters last year, but I'm working on a specialty Menu, and these will definitely be added! I love how the M&Ms match the colour theme as well.

I AM NOT taking any more orders for THIS coming WEEK/WEEKEND (August 17 to 23)
I have several personal commitments this week, as well as desperately needing to play catch up on many things, so I'm unable to accept any last-minute orders this week.
If you've already messaged me regarding an order for August, even if I have yet to respond or we're otherwise in the booking process, you're good!

Pick Up Availability August 28, 29, and 30:
Friday, August 28: 5pm to 9pm
Saturday, August 29: 11am to 3pm at CHP only!*
Sunday, August 30: 11am-9pm

*I will be at Cole Harbour Place on Saturday, August 29, from 11am-3pm for a Market. It's free admission, and barely 2 minutes from my home where pick up otherwise would be.
I will also be running a Pre-Order that weekend, with the same Pick Up Availability. Details coming this week. Theme is "Childhood Nostalgia".
I have an event at work that evening - schedule TBD.
The current plan is to have porch pick up available for Market Extras and the Pre-Order in the evening. An update will be posted in advance!

I will be working on Existing Inquiries tonight and Sunday.
All inquiries for August MUST be submitted 7 DAYS before the day you'd like to pick up.
Any New Inquiries received after Sunday, August 16, will be responded to no later than Tuesday, August 25. They may be responded to earlier, but please expect replies to be delayed this week.
Please Note: Generally, replies may take up to 3 days; possibly longer depending on my schedule (ex: order fulfillment days) and the complexity of the inquiry.

I don't even have words.

🎂 This cake was a labour of love.
🌈 Each colour was dyed then piped individually, to ensure I didn't over or under colour any buttercream. You can always add, but you can't take away. Dyeing in colour order also means you don't have to rinse and dry the bowl and spatula between colours. What's additionally crazy, is I didn't colour match anything! But literally everything matches.
🪩 All the pearls were each hand placed in rainbow order, and the bows were tied by me - as always. And of course I added the candles, disco balls, and lots of glitter.
