Happy National Brownie Day! 👌🍫 I made these sourdough discard brownies, and they are absolutely delicious! These brownies have beautiful crackly tops, they are amazingly rich and fudgy, with thick chocolatey gooey centers!

I highly endorse making these next time you have some discard to use up! I promise they will not last long in your house 🤤

Happy friends! I know the world is so heavy, but I hope you were able to find a bit of joy today. We need the little bits of joy to give us faith, and to be able to sustain the fight for a better world for all, one not ran by a very few elite people.

Today we made ourselves some Halloween Sugar Cookies! 💀🎃🕸🦇🕷⚰️🪦 I made these with a recipe that uses sourdough discard, and everyone who tried them loved them! I love finding new recipes which require sourdough discard, because waste is never the way. 🙅‍♀️

Zombie Brain Cupcakes! 🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️🧠🧁💚 How epic are these cupcakes for Halloween!?

These cupcakes are incredibly easy to make! You begin by holding the cupcake in front of you. Then you pipe downward from the centre of the top of the cupcake, and then upward around the edge back up to the top (you’ll form a D, and then a mirrored D eventually for the other side). Once you are back at the top with one of your D’s you pipe downward again in a continuous S shape until you get to the bottom! Repeat this on the other side and add in some red gel icing for the extra creepiness 👌

You all know how much I love a delicious recipe that can be customized for the current holiday season! 🕷💜 This soft frosted sugar cookie recipe is absolutely amazing and so easily customizable, making it the perfect addition to every holiday dessert table👌 It doesn’t require chilling, rolling or cutting and it topped with a simple buttercream frosting, it really is a winner as far as cookie recipes go!

To spookify this recipe for Halloween I used neon purple food colouring, and the “spiders” sprinkle mix set from To say I am obsessed with the results is amazing understatement!

Today I entered my 32nd year here on earth and began another 365 day journey. I leave 31 behind, with an immense appreciation for what it brought me and for what it taught me. 31 was a big year for me full of many highs and many lows. I am thankful for the growth the past year has given me, the situations I was put in which tested my character, and my ability to do the right thing even when it was the hard thing to do because people didn’t deserve it.

Here’s to 32! May I always find the courage to stand up for the underdog even when it’s not an easy task. May I always strive to kill people with kindness and not let their negativity influence the way I react. I welcome the the highs and lows that this year will inevitably bring as I know that will be put in my path to teach me the lessons I need to be to be taught.

Going, Going, Scone. These sourdough scones won’t last long in your house, I can promise you that! 🤤

Fully customizable as you can mix in whatever you like, the recipe is for chocolate chip scones and I also made blueberry, cinnamon raisin & white chocolate cranberry!

Which flavour would you be going for? Let me know in the comments - I picked white chocolate cranberry because yum👌🤤
