Today is a busy day of prep for our biggest cart booking to date tomorrow for the Cowichan Autumn Classic - Run Now, W**e Later 2026 in Glenora!! With over 400 runners, 60 volunteers plus spectators, it will no doubt be an incredible day!!! This is put on by Ceevacs Roadrunners which is a non profit and all proceeds from this race are going towards Cowichan Valley Kidsport which is such a wonderful local sports assistance program that helps families put their kids through sports if they need financial assistance.

I can’t believe I forgot to post this fall beauty from last October!

My friend gave me some creative freedom with this one, we loved another pallet knife inspo cake but it was definitely giving spring summer vibes and this wedding was very much fall vibes so I went with some darker colours not knowing that every colour I used ended up being a bridesmaid dress colour!!

Sometimes you have to say goodbye to one era and hello to a new. RIP 20s🖤

I don’t know about you but saying hello to my 30s was the start of a whole new life and everything has only gotten better with age. I’m only a few years off a RIP 30s bday now and I couldn’t be more excited to see what my 40s will be like!!!

I want to say it’s been years since Iv done a drip cake. When I first started I did cakes like this all the time! It’s a great option for those who aren’t into buttercream flowers or vintage piping

I don’t often accept movie/ character themed cakes or cupcakes but also I do what I want and these were cute and all buttercream 😆 it was also more of a Toy Story vibe than actual characters but this just shows you can actually get a theme across without putting the characters on.

This is all about having a cozy, relaxed time where we aim for fun over perfection! I’ll guide you step by step through flat icing and decorating a 2-layer, 6” fall-themed cake, using this design as our inspiration.
I’ll be sharing all my best tips like how to work a turntable, spatula techniques, buttercream tricks, and proper piping styles.
