Hello Everyone:
This is a challenging message to write. After 14 years of operation, Mike and I are closing the doors of From the Hearth Bakery. This will happen on Saturday, Sept 4th, 2021. We have discussed this with our staff, and we are all agreed that the time has come to shut down. To say that this is difficult is an understatement.
Over the last 14 years, we have made friends who happened to be customers, shared so many laughs together, and spent a great deal of time looking after one another. This is very hard to walk away from, but none of us are so very young anymore. Baking is a very physical job, and the demands are becoming too much.
In the next 2 weeks, we will continue to be open with the same hours (Wednesday through Saturday from 8 am to 3 pm) as we have this summer, and we will continue with our bread schedule. For our other products, we will have a variety of items, but not limit to specific product lists.
If your have a Gift Certificate outstanding, please use it before Sept 4th, 2021. I know that there are some out there. And finally, please come by to say hello. We look forward to seeing as many of you as we can.
