Our Story -
In 2007 my husband and I had our second daughter. She was, and still is a fun loving, caring, beautiful little girl! When she was about 4 years old we had noticed a change in her behavior a
nd especially when it came to eating. She began to experience stomach issues that included pain in her belly after eating certain foods, and typical symptoms of Celiac disease. My mother-in-law had been a Celiac for 25+ years and had been gluten free ever since finding out. We decided to eat completely gluten free for a month, and because of the remarkable difference we never went back! Having my mother-in-law help out with our transition made things a lot easier and with my mother-in-law's extensive knowledge of a Gluten Free living environment that made it simple and easy for me to introduce! At first I was a little overwhelmed with the thought of not using Wheat Flour for baking ever again. It was difficult to adjust to not being able to go out for dinner to some of our favorite restaurants or sharing meals at our friend's homes. She taught me all the secrets for making Gluten Free taste, look, and feel just like our old wheat flour recipes. I had had some gluten free items previously and they were unpalatable! The sweets were always gritty and tasted off, the breads were hard and dry, or crumbly and nothing had the same texture as a good wheat flour recipe. So we have focused our efforts at making gluten free delicious; you shouldn’t be able to tell that our items are gluten free. Our bread is soft with a beautiful light crust; our muffin's and cakes are moist and delicious. We research all our ingredients thoroughly before use for Gluten Content. We check the PPM of the product to make sure they are safe for people with Celiac Disease. We cannot tolerate any gluten in our home and stand by our product to be better than the best out there. If you have other specific allergies (nut, bean, soy, etc) we will try our best to work with you to get the item you need so you can enjoy the food you once loved.
