We are back in the swing of things at St. Andrew's. Our community worships tomorrow. Jackie is leading with Collinda making the music happen. The service starts at 10am with coffee afterwards. The service is open to anyone who wants to come. May your weekend hold what you need it to, perhaps we all need sunshine. May that be so.

Our congregation is invited to join Alameda for worship through the month of August. They gather at 10am in a circle with Brian leading. These summer services see the Spirit moving in a fresh way. All are welcome.

A Reminder....Sunday morning summer worship is relaxed, resembling time at camp. We gather in a circle and explore our faith with Rev. Brian's leadership. No matter what point we are at on our journey all are welcome. The church is air conditioned, the time is interesting and nourishing. All are welcome at 10am for worship and/or 11am for coffee.

Hello its Kathy K, posting about worship through the summer.

*Brian is leading at Carnduff every Sunday in July, 10am, with folks from all over the region invited to join in. The worship will be shaped differently, literally, we will gather in a circle using the choir loft/altar area and content will not be the usual. I feel kind've lucky to get to experience this different format and all I have to do is show up. What are your feelings as you hear about this? Curiousity? Discomfort? Hunger? Brian is experienced with group process, his deep faith will invite all of us to experience our faith afresh.

*In August, Brian moves this same circle time of worship to Alameda where we are invited to continue attending.

*Also in July, Jackie is leading worship at Gainsborough Health Centre every Sunday afternoon. We are all invited to be there and experience worship with the folks who live there. Stay tuned for posts about ride sharing. If you are heading down you are asked to be there about 2:15 for a 2:30 start.

Worship for June 28th will happen at 10am with Jackie leading and Tarra at the piano. Kathy has a solo to share. It is worship that is shaped by some storytelling as we mark the end of Pride month. Empathy, understanding and ally are all relevant words for the time we spend togther. As always our worship time is for anyone who wants to come in and join in as we sing, pray, listen and ponder.

Today's the day for our cowboy service. Other congregations are joining us. It will not be livestreamed. The doors are open wide, everyone is welcome. There are snacks to follow. Come and enjoy music, the Spirit, storytelling and some treats. Feel free to dress in whatever western clothes you have!

One of the great things about the way church is unfolding in Carnduff and all over the southeast is the way that experienced leadership from Jackie and Brian is merging with the gifts of laypeople. It means that every Sunday is different but fuelled by sincere efforts to help us apply and live the gospel. Last week Bev's experience and treasure trove of stories wove its way into her leadership giving points to ponder. This coming week Zoe Wickstrom will be our worship leader, bringing her story and fresh perspective to bear on our worship together. A person can't really arrive at worship knowing what to expect these days, but its really cool to to see all of our gifts being used and ways opening up for the Spirit of God to be moving among us. Worship is at 10am and coffee time is about 11am, join us for all or part of the morning.

This morning one of our ministers was ordained. Brian Pankratz attended the regional council meeting in B.C. where the ceremony of ordination unfolded. Brian is now Rev. Brian! This link will allow us to take part in this big moment. The process to get to this point is lengthy, requiring so much preparation. Congratulations to Brian at this big time in his life.
