❤️ A HUGE THANK YOU FROM BRIGI’S WILD LOAF! 🍞🌾

As our very first farmers’ market season comes to an end, I just want to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! ❤️

To the amazing Carleton Place community, thank you for welcoming us so warmly, and a big thank you to the wonderful market organizers Jack and Sydney for having us this season! Thank you so much Nikki for taking pictures every Saturday!! 🙏🏼

To everyone who stopped by our stand, supported my little home-based sourdough business, and especially those of you who kept coming back for your favourite bread , scones and cookies — you made this first season truly special! 🥹❤️ It has been such a wonderful experience meeting so many amazing people and seeing familiar faces return week after week.

And of course, a very special THANK YOU to my family ❤️ Without their love, help, patience, and support, I wouldn’t be able to do all of this. There are so many late nights- early mornings and long hours behind every loaf and scone, and I’m so grateful to have them by my side. I couldn’t do it without them! 🥰💞

I’m beyond grateful for this first season and for everyone who has been part of this journey. Your support means more to me than you know!

Although our outdoor farmers’ market season is ending, Brigi’s Wild Loaf isn’t going anywhere! 🌾🍞 Our next stop will be the Women’s Fair in Carleton Place on November 7, and I can’t wait to see some familiar faces there!

🍞✨ LAST Outdoor Market of the Season! ✨🍞🥺

This Saturday, We’ll be back at the Carleton Place Market for our last outdoor market of the season! 🥖❤️

Fresh sourdough breads, scones, cookies and maybe some fresh focaccia 🥰

And… I’m already starting to think about my Christmas markets! 🎄🎅🏻

I have a few new cookie ideas in my head, including some stuffed cookies, but I’d LOVE to hear from you! 👀🍪

✨ What a beautiful market day! 🥖❤️

Today was such a wonderful day seeing so many familiar faces, meeting new customers, and feeling so grateful for everyone who chooses to support my little home-kitchen business. Every purchase and kind word means so much to me! 🥰

I also saw Janet’s post about my Blueberry Lemon Sourdough Bread 🫐🍋 after the market. ❤️ Unfortunately, I couldn’t respond directly to her post, but seeing that she enjoyed my bread made me so happy! Knowing that people enjoy something I make is the best feeling. 🥹

Today was also my first time bringing my focaccia bread to the market, and I honestly wish I had done it sooner! I had samples out, and people loved it! 🫓😍

And the sweetest surprise today—one of my regular customers, who comes to every market and always gets my scones, brought us a gift bag with chocolates and a beautiful card. 🥹❤️ Such a thoughtful gesture and it truly touched my heart.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, tried a sample, bought something, or simply said hello. I appreciate you more than you know! ❤️

🍞 Market day is coming up this Saturday!! ❤️

And apparently, my starter is VERY excited too! 😂🫙😂

Every time I feed my starter for my dough day , I also make some fresh starter for my cookies and scones separate . I prefer using it cold , specially for my scones , so I put some in the fridge ( like 3 big jars ) 🤭

But no matter how much room I leave in the jar, it somehow grows, blows the lid off and makes a complete mess in my fridge 🤦🏻‍♀️😂

It’s supposed to be a beautiful weekend — the perfect time to come out, enjoy the market ☀️ 🐝 and grab something freshly baked! 🍞🍪 💛

What a beautiful market day we had yesterday ! 🥰🍞❤️🌞

I got to see so many of my regular customers, and some of my wonderful friends and my favourite girls came by to see us too. 💝
It honestly makes my heart so happy seeing familiar faces and knowing that people keep coming back for my bread. 🥹❤️

Friday night I got some exciting news !
My favourite greenhouse in Ottawa accepted my application for their Holiday Market! 🎄✨
And guess what? It’s a TWO-DAY market! 😳😂

Am I wondering how on earth I’m going to manage all that baking, preparing, packing and two full days at a market? 😱
But My Boys said “ IF I WANT TO DO IT YES SURE !”
So After a day talking and thinking about it 🧐 we’re going to give it a shot! ❤️
It’s such a beautiful place, and I’m really excited to be part of their holiday market. 🎄🍞✨

THANK YOU so much to EVERYONE who came out today and supported Brigi’s Wild Loaf! ❤️ I am beyond grateful for every loaf of bread, scone and cookie you purchased. 🙏🏼🥰

We were completely SOLD OUT by 11:30 AM! 😍🎉 I brought 73 loaves of bread and 16 batches of scones(128), and even my little pumpkin-shaped bread that I made just for decoration found new homes! 😂🎃🍞

My heart is so full. Thank you for supporting my little baking dream and for loving my bread as much as I love making it. ❤️🥖

And to top off this amazing day, we were invited to take part in a Christmas market! 🎄❤️ I’m so excited 🥰

Coffee & Fresh Bread ☕🍞

This was me Saturday (Aug 15th)morning before the market, at 4 AM,drinking my coffee and surrounded by freshly baked bread! ☕😋🍞

I had been up all night baking, making sure everything was cooled, packaged, and ready to go. And honestly… I really wished I could have taken a bite out of some of them! 😂🍞
This was actually one of my best baking nights yet!
When you’re working with big batches of dough, it can be very hard to control everything😬 So I was very happy with how everything turned out, all beautiful 💃🏻💃🏻

And guess what? The next market is coming up this Saturday! 🥰🍞💛

🌾 Approximately how many kilograms of flour did I use for ALL of it — bread, scones AND cookies?

I’ll give you a little hint… there was A LOT of flour involved! 😂
