So I have been thinking of buying an apron to save my shirts finally. Well my wonderful man bought me the two baking ones. I got the wich it reminds me of the s**t stirrer shirt I have. Now when I bake or can I have to choose an apron lol

Okay, so I will be at the street festival today. ❤️

Yes, I have been off work because of this stupid neck injury, and honestly, I have spent most of this week living in a chair. This has been a really rough situation for me, especially because I’ve been encouraged all year to keep doing vendor shows and to keep going.

I know some coworkers may think, “Oh, you just took the week off so you could bake.” But that is not the situation at all. I am injured, and this week has been hard. I’ve had to slow down and accept help, which isn’t always easy for me.

Wayne has been absolutely amazing through all of this. He stirred bowls, washed dishes, put things in and out of the oven, helped package everything, and did so much more. I supervised and did what I could. ❤️ Without his help, today simply would not have been possible.

He knows how much I love doing this and how much it means to me. And I can’t help but think that Mom is looking down on me today, smiling and proud that I’m continuing to do something I love. I know she would tell me to keep going, even when things get hard. ❤️

So today, I’m going to be there. I’m looking forward to seeing some friends, meeting customers, sharing what I’ve made, and just enjoying the day.

It may have taken a little extra help to get me here, but I’m here — and that means more to me than people probably realize.

Here’s to Mom, to keeping going, and to doing what you love even when life throws you a curveball. ❤️

Woke up ill this morning. Popped Buckleys and herbs all day. Little better so I am doing little bits to prep for Saturday street fair. Little bits as I mix and someone helps with the rest. He is a wonderful man and helping me as much as possible. See this morning I couldn't even stand so 5 minutes I stand and mix he does rest. So thankful for his help. You know who you are. 😀
