we love seeing familiar faces. meeting new people. hearing what’s been going on in your lives. getting to be a small part of your day.

in case you didn’t know we are emotionally exhausted, full of existential dread, but will never miss an opportunity to compliment you 😌🍩

we want you to know that it’s okay to feel hopeless sometimes.
to feel the grief and admit the world feels impossible right now.

we don’t believe community care means pretending everything is okay. we think it means letting ourselves feel the despair…
and then still trying to create small moments of joy and connection anyway.

in a compliment. a donut. a real conversation. an act of kindness. a reminder that good people still exist.

that’s how we keep finding hope in humanity again.

last week reminded us how many people are quietly carrying things we cannot see.

thank you to everyone who came out for bow valley mental health and addictions week.
to our speakers who shared their lived experiences so openly.
to the people who listened deeply.
to the tables full of vulnerable conversations.
to the people who came even though they were anxious to walk through the door.

thank you.

these events are never really about donuts, although they are delicious. they’re about creating spaces where people feel a little less alone.
