A shining example is Tanille Johnston, who empowered the 1st Campbell River Pathfinders/Rangers with a thought-provoking discussion on the importance of women's and underrepresented voices in politics.

Registration for Girl Guides of Canada is almost here, and we want you to be ready! Every year, Campbell River District youth sit on a waitlist due to volunteer shortages or not registering when the opportunity opens.

Save these dates:

📅 May 20 — Returning members (new unit)
📅 June 8 — New members

On this Earth Day, we would like to express our gratitude to all units participating in the 7th annual Small Planet Energy cleanup.

From our youngest Sparks to our oldest Rangers, they are utilizing meeting time to assist in cleaning up Campbell River.

The 1st Campbell River Guides have added another exciting chapter to their Guiding journey, following an evening of friendship and amusement at Castle Fun Park in Abbotsford.

Organized by BC Girl Guides, this event featured unlimited access to games and activities, ending in a sleepover in the castle.

Not stopping there, the dedicated volunteer Guiders enriched the experience with extra fun, from a visit to BC Guide House and geocaching to challenging the youth to pack travel-ready for future interprovincial and international adventures.

Adventure awaits with Girl Guides of Canada! 🌟

The 1st Campbell River Embers have just returned from an amazing adventure to the Vancouver area, led by their dedicated volunteer Guiders and inspiring Junior Leaders. Together, 10 Embers took on new challenges, built confidence, and developed independence along the way.

Their trip included navigating public transit, a personalized SkyTrain tour, geocaching, exploring Science World, and so much more—each experience offering opportunities to learn new skills, try something new, and grow together as a unit.

From first‑time travel moments to teamwork and leadership in action, this adventure truly captured the spirit of Guiding.
