🚐 WE’RE HIRING — WEEKEND DELIVERY DRIVER

FREYA is looking for a reliable weekend delivery driver to join our team!

The schedule
Saturday + Sunday
6:00 AM – approx. 10:30 AM
Perfect for an early riser who likes having the rest of the day free.

The good stuff
🥐 $20/hour + tips — our drivers receive the same share of tips as the rest of our team
☕ Coffee, croissants & fresh bread on your workdays
💜 A fantastic bunch of people to work with
🤝 Great wholesale partners to deliver to
🌅 Early start, early finish

What we’re looking for
• Clean Class 5 driver’s licence
• Minimum 4 years of driving experience
• Reliable, punctual and comfortable driving independently
• Someone who takes good care of both our products and our delivery vehicle

You’ll be delivering freshly baked FREYA pastries and bread to our stores and wholesale partners and helping make sure everything arrives safely and on time.

Some of our wonderful student team members are heading back to school, which means we have room for someone new at FREYA Campbell River.

We’re looking for a full-time Barista (32+ hours/week) to join our team starting at the end of August, and ideally, we’re looking for someone who wants to stay and grow with us long term.

No barista experience is required. We’re happy to train the right person, although applicants with extensive barista experience will be given preference.

More than experience, we’re looking for someone who is:

- outgoing, warm and genuinely kind
- comfortable talking to people and getting to know our regulars
- reliable and a great teammate
- someone who truly enjoys hospitality and making people’s day a little better

You’ll be working alongside a pretty special group of people (some of our team have been with us since day one) and serving an equally wonderful community of customers and familiar faces.

The details:
• $20/hour starting wage + tips
• 32+ hours/week, full-time
• Weekend availability as needed
• Starting at the end of August
• Training provided
• Free coffee & pastries (an important job perk, obviously)
• A kind, supportive and experienced team
• Lots and lots of lovely regulars

Freya is looking for a full-time Barista to join our team in Courtenay.

What we're looking for:
• Full-time availability (this is not a part-time position) regularly including some weekend shifts
• Positive attitude and genuine love for customer service
• Passion for great coffee and quality food

Experience
No previous experience is required, we provide full training. However, applicants with previous barista experience will be given preference.

Starting Wednesday, July 8, and continuing every Wednesday during CR Live Streets, we'll be keeping our Campbell River kaffe open later so you can enjoy the festivities with something freshly baked in hand.

We'll have a fresh afternoon bake of our sourdough croissants, along with coffee, iced drinks, and all your FREYA favourites ready for you.
