Happy Thursday!
We have an exciting weekend coming up (do I say that every week? We have a lot of exciting weekends!) Not only is it Labour day long weekend, but it is also Customer Appreciation Day at the Comox Valley Farmers' Market!! There will be free apples for all customers by the information booth, as well as many vendors with one day only sales!

I will have a free cookie (either white chocolate macadamia or cranberry walnut oatmeal) for every purchase over $20! Only available on Saturday at the market.

***WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 2 MARKET CANCELLED***

Due to the expected high winds forecasted for tomorrow (Wednesday September 2) we have made the hard decision to CANCEL the market.

We don't make these decisions lightly. The safety of our vendors, customers and staff is our top priority. Although we are open rain or shine, there are some weather conditions where it is just not safe to stay open. Tomorrow is one of those days.

Don't worry though, we still have two more Wednesday markets (September 9 and 16) after tomorrow where you can get your mid-week local on.

Thanks for all your support. We look forward to seeing you next Wednesday!

Happy Thursday!

Lamb & Chick had their first squash of the season ready yesterday, so I figured it was a good time to do some pumpkin pie tarts! There is a chance I'll be able to get buttertarts done as well, but no promises on those 😋

Vegan scones were a total hit last weekend, so they are back and may be here to stay! At least while the warm weather is around.
