Over the course of my career 12+ years making memorable cakes for so many amazing families this one will stay with my heart forever❤️

This cake meant more than just a wedding cake for an amazing couple, this cake made us push ourselves to a place we never thought possible.

When we lost Rigoberto this cake was always my responsibility to execute and deliver. When we book cakes for any occasion we make it our duty not ever let anyone down.

After baking this 3 times and stacking it twice because the tears and pain kept defeating us, we did it.

The sizes were off, the piping didn’t look right. Just couldn’t settle for something less than what the bride and groom deserved.

For so many custom cake bakers out there. We know how you feel ❤️ it may seem like an easy job to most but it’s as real as it gets and our heart, dedication and love go into every order we accept.

Giving up is not an option it’s a choice a choice that doesn’t exist .cafe.

We just want you to all know we are human and we try damn hard to do the best we can always & forever, one cake at a time ❤️

To our Family, friends, and clients we do this for you and we wouldn’t have it any other way and you make it all possible for us to prove to you daily what we are made of❤️

With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to someone who was so much more than a brother in law, he was my brother, a part of our family, a friend, a son, a father to his children and an uncle/father to all of his Nephews and Nieces and a loving husband who married his best friend ❤️ Anita Cuevas

He was loved by so many and will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious smile, and the joy he brought to everyone around him. He would take his shirt off for anyone who needed it no matter what. He had a passion for all things superheroes. He loved creating incredible Lego builds and took so much pride in his superhero collections he carefully built over the years. His creativity, enthusiasm, and love for the things that made him happy were contagious.

Today, we mourn a life gone too soon, while celebrating the amazing person he was. Please keep his wife and young children in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this unimaginable loss.

We would like to thank you all for the patience and continuous love and support you have showed through all of this. He fought so hard, so hard. 15 weeks in the hospital, one thing after another. He’s in a better place watching over his family now. Your prayers and support will never be forgotten.

Rigoberto Cuevas, you will always be deeply loved, and you will be missed more than words can express. ❤️ rest easy my brother.
