Calgary VegFest is getting closer and I should probably tell you what I’m bringing.

but where’s the fun in that?

Here’s a little preview instead.

There will be laminated things.
There will be very buttery things.
There will be sweet things.
There will be savoury things.

And yes, there will be cruffins. There will always be cruffins.

Roll With It is officially making its Calgary VegFest debut and I’m equal parts excited and mildly terrified.

I’ve been planning this menu for weeks, which means you know it's gonna be good.

Croissants. Cruffins. Sweet things. Savoury things. Some things you probably shouldn't eat all at once but I fully support you trying.

Come say hi, eat some pastry, listen to some music, and make my first VegFest a good one.

It's going to be a hot one this Saturday, but the pastries will be fresh and worth the trip!

I'll be at the market with a full lineup of plant-based pastries, including croissants, cruffins, cinnamon buns, cookies, and more....probably best to avoid anything with whipped cream though 🫠

If you're heading to the market, come early for the best selection before the heat, and don't forget your water bottle!

Here's a really bad picture of a really delicious croissant. I got my hands on a bunch of basil, so the Pesto Tomato Feta Croissant is back! Pesto, fresh tomatoes, whipped feta and a drizzle of balsamic, it's like eating summer.

Dropping a picture of the Jammed Biscuits from my last market. You can't tell, but there's a hidden layer of strawberry jam and fluffy whipped butter in there just to up the yum factor of these craggily little flavour bombs.
