Letâs chat cookies! When youâre buying from makers, I always think itâs helpful to know what goes into the product youâre buying. And if youâre following other cookiers, Iâm sure youâve heard this before...
On average it takes me about 8 hours to complete a custom set of 24 royal icing cookies. So yes, my hourly wage was higher at my high school Starbucks job đ. I think my pace is probably average but if you make cookies too, feel free to chime in! I would love to know how long a set takes you.
I hate doing a preorder because so many people miss it or donât get what they want. I thought doing 3 flash sales would be great because it would give everyone 3 chances to order but Iâm also a little bit worried that it will mean 3 weeks of disappointed people. I donât want every sale to be exclusive + a high-stress situation (even though I know it turns into this đ). But trust me when I say there just isnât enough time to fill the demand! My family comes first and Iâm so lucky so be able to make cookies as a creative outlet. It really is one of my greatest privileges and it makes me so happy to be part of your celebrations!
If youâre still reading this! I donât think these cookies need to be THIS exclusive. Believe me when I say, YOU CAN DO THIS TOO! So! Iâve decided to host a FREE online workshop on Saturday, December 19th for everyone who wants learn! Iâve set up a private group for this... Send me a message if youâd like to join and you can start shopping for your ingredients! **This picture has nothing to do with the workshop. Planning a Grinch theme but more on this soon**đ. If you donât get what you want in the next 2 sales, I hope you give me the chance to show you that you can do this too! I wouldnât say it if I didnât believe it. Send me a message if youâd like to join!
