Fun morning at Casel Marche 17 today! 18 loaves of fresh bread and there are still about 8 left so hurry fast! Also their cafe is amazing (I had 2 soy lattes while handing out samples... mmmmmmm)

Nothing like waking up early on a Saturday and driving to rural Alberta to buy local grains. Much to my surprise however, the jolly old farmer invited me for coffee and breakfast which lasted two hours. I think I'm family now! At the end, he gave me more than 100lbs of wheat berries for $30. THIS is how food should be shared.

Market 17 was a mad success! We sold all 14 loaves in less than two hours and the store has placed two orders a week! Expect to find Manna Bread at Market 17 all week! Their 'bread guy' said it was the BEST SWISS RYE he'd ever tried!

This morning we have a fresh batch at Heritage Deli and we have a big debut at Castel Market 17!!! We'll be there this afternoon 12-2pm giving samples !!
