Our creations are handmade in our small shop in Calgary, Alberta by a very patient craftsmen, and a designer, who just happen to be best friends, and madly in love. When we c

reate a piece that requires steel we always choose the best North American, industrial, grade A steel. We sand, burn, and sand some more. When we get just the right look, we complete the piece by sealing it to be durable, for the intention of it being passed on for generations.

And somehow, it feels like I’m launching a business all over again.

Decades Collide has officially entered a new chapter, and I don’t think I’ve been this excited about where we’re headed in a very long time.

Almost 10 years ago, this business started with an idea, some wood, a whole lot of learning as we went 😂, and absolutely no idea where it would take us.

Since then, you have invited our pieces into your homes. You’ve trusted us with wedding gifts, retirement gifts, corporate gifts and some of life’s biggest milestones. You’ve shared our work, recommended us, ordered again and again, and supported this little Canadian business in ways I will never take for granted.

And because of YOU, we’re still here nearly a decade later. 🤎

We created this custom Alberta piece some time ago for a family man from High River. The deep espresso stained wood, the hand finished provincial silhouette, and the intricately carved skull came together to create something bold, grounded, and unmistakably western.

It wasn’t made to follow a trend.

It was made to represent home, where a family is built, memories are made, and roots run deep.
