Dearest Sassy customers

I wanted to let you know that I'm going to be taking a break from baking until around November.

I got my hip surgery date which is June 16. Im very much looking forward to surgery so I can fully return to doing things I love.

I have a lot of preparation to do to get ready for surgery and recovery afterwards. Please hang in there with me.

I'm going to be working on my Valentines menu pretty soon. I know it seems early but one thing I learned in marketing, you need to be prepared. Prepared I shall be.

And so ends another year of Christmas baking. I was busier than last year so thank you repeat customers, thank you new customers. I've had a blast baking for all of you.

I baked over 17 dozen cookies and made 8 pans of butterscotch marshmallow squares 😮😮😮 you guys have kept me busy!

Tomorrow I'll be out delivering everything i baked today 🥰

Before my Baba passed, she gave me a bunch of glass baking dishes, her favorite yellow pot and her orange measuring cup.

I know that whenever I use my Baba's items, my baking will turn out wonderful and full of love.

6 batches of butterscotch squares, done. Next up, lots of cookies to bake.

All is well in my world today.

I'm on my days off from my full time job and that allows me to bake up a storm for my customers.

In the meantime, these tasty morsels are Italian Anginetti Cookies. Or in my case, Anjinetti 😉
