Oops! I got so busy doing all the other tasks of running a birthday party, that I forgot to take photos of the cookies!

My MIL even asked me if I had photos and I said “yes” without even thinking.

Unfortunately, this is all that was left, so two designs are missing.
But that’s the sign of a good party, right?!🤪

Birthday parties were always a big deal for us growing up. My parents always made sure it was special, complete with themes, decorations, all the snacks/treats.

I’m not sure that I can’t make my son’s birthday’s better than mine, but I can try to make them just as special 💕

I made two birthday cakes too- a Dino theme for his family celebration, and a construction theme cake for his construction party.
When a toddler changes their mind about theme after you’ve committed to something else, you find a way to compromise 😂

Another Paw Patrol request for a couple of kids turning 4! Happy birthday Bodie & Declan!

I really went out of my comfort zone with these- I didn’t think I was skilled enough to pull off faces. But with some encouragement, a lot of patience and the use of many different techniques, I am so thrilled they worked out.

Over the weekend, I had the privilege of attending the wedding shower for a dear friend. Someone I’ve known for 15 years; we were placed randomly as roommates in residence. For two years, we shared space and memories, shaping us into who we are today. No matter how much time passes, we can always pick up where we left off.

She doesn’t get married until this summer but the theme for gifts was “something for the couple to enjoy together”.
Obviously I had to pour my heart into some cookies for them.

The best thing about cookies, is they freeze really well! If you can resist eating them all first, that is. 🤤😋

Hi friends!
It’s been some time since I’ve posted!

We moved at the end of November, but it took until January to feel completely settled in. Since then, I’ve been busy working my day job and getting into a new routine with our son.
I’ve learned the quirks of my new (to me) oven and am slowly getting back into cookie making.

Unfortunately, my first successful set of cookies were for a friend who lost their mother. It’s so difficult to friend’s grieving and I never know how to best help. But everyone likes cookies right?!
My friend has a deep connection to their faith, so I wanted to honour that in cookie form, while also acknowledging their immense loss.

Although this post was double-edged with positivity and grim, I am very much looking forward to creating again.

I have a couple of really fun upcoming orders that I’m very excited to share. Stay tuned!
