Cinnamon Raisin Sourdough

my usual blend of fresh milled organic wheat and spelt from milled with my and white flour, cinnamon, honey, and raisins

this loaf is slowly becoming very popular. I'm not usually a huge cinnamon raisin bread fan myself but this loaf has had me going back for seconds😏

it took some trial and error to get this loaf right. cinnamon is anti-bacterial and sourdough starter is pro-bacterial so they're not exactly two peas in a pod but I've found a way to make it work :)

Light Rye & Caraway Sourdough

a blend of fresh milled organic local rye and whole wheat flour from Fieldstone Organics with white flour + caraway seeds

the people have spoken, light rye and caraway takes the cake

light rye is one of my favourites and the caraway seed just gives it that traditional flare

The Plain Loaf

my classic blend of freshly milled organic local wheat and spelt from and white flour

known as the plain loaf but I prefer calling it the Companion loaf, plain seems too plain

the companion loaf is a wholesome loaf, approved by any companion, bread snobs and children alike

It can be served with any of your favourite meats, cheeses, accoutrements🧐 but nothing beats a slice of the companion loaf with a generous amount of butter, a fresh fried egg, sea salt and pepper🤤

Cranberry Pumpkin Seed Sourdough

a blend of fresh-milled organic local wheat and spelt from and white flour + raw pumpkin seeds and dried cranberries

a delicate blend of sweet and tart from the cranberries with a nutty crunch from the pumpkin seeds

deliciously paired with sweet or savoury toppings or showcased with a generous serving of butter ;)

special thanks to my little assistant for helping me score and bake this loaf❣️

Seedy Sourdough

a blend of fresh milled organic wheat, spelt from and white flour with pumpkin + sunflower + millet + flax + sesame + poppy seeds

my forever favourite (probably)

can't beat that nutty, earthy flavour and crunchy seedy crunch

I think I'm getting on the seeded crust train. It looks very pretty and tastes nice :)
