Hey all, we have so many cookie varieties this week. We have decided to end our season this Wednesday August 26th at Waterfront Wednesdays in Selkirk. We are clearing out ingredients and dough. This makes for lots of cookie varieties but some will be limited quantities. Come see us early or preorder to get your favourites!!! On top of our regular cookies we will also have little bites and some loaves. See you Wednesday in Selkirk!!!

Miss Ese (Esmeralda) turned one last week. Things have been a bit crazy but needed to acknowledge her special day!! For her birthday we have joined a “Confidence and Obstacle Course Fun” class… fingers crossed I survive!! I am sure our amazing girl will do fabulous. ☺️

Our old fixer upper, is starting to look a little different. Our upstairs living room was/is an interesting room at 13’x23’ it certainly didn’t have a warm cozy feeling. There was no defined entrance area just a door with a window that looked straight into the room (which I found a bit creepy - not going to lie). We had this idea, to define an entrance way, make the room a bit smaller/cozier. We weren’t sure it would work but it is coming along beautifully and we are very pleased with how it makes the room feel. Some doors for the cabinets are coming this week and finally we can empty some more boxes! Lots of work to be done yet; as every wall/section/room leads to another project but this is a start!!!

We have made a couple small changes… and they are one’s that feel really good. 💛

We’ve decided to choose joy and positive environments as we slow down and begin preparing for retirement from selling cookies.

That means stepping back from a few markets we had originally booked and saying yes to select new markets and dates that feel uplifting, supportive, and aligned with this next chapter for our family and business.

Running a small business has been a beautiful journey, and we’ve learned that sometimes the best decision isn’t doing more—it’s choosing what feels right, peaceful, and full of joy.

We’ll still be baking the same big, delicious cookies you love for now, and we can’t wait to see you at our updated market lineup!
