Good day friends, first and foremost, we'd like to thank everyone who placed an order last week with us! It's truly humbling how many of our customers want us to stay afloat during this construction season!
This week will work a little differently as we're catering a wedding on Saturday, so pick up this week will be on Friday between 10 and 4 pm.
This week, we will be offering;
Chicken Alfredo family size $45 and single serve for $9
Baked Penne with peppers, tomatoes, and onions Family $45 and single serve for $9
Chicken cacciatore for $10 single serve only
We are also going to try to have meat pies in stock, but they will be first come, first served.
We will have limited baked goods for sale in the display case as well.

Hi friends. Sorry this post is late coming. But we needed a few days away from social media to give our heads a rest.
We just want to say Thank you!!! for the love and support over the last few days.. You have no idea how much we appreciate it.
Moving forward we have decided we will be going back to how we had to operate during covid. Minus the masks and social distancing of course.
We will be posting every Monday with that weeks menu. Simply comment on the post what you would like and how many. Pick up will be on Saturday at the store or Sunday at Codrington Farmers market.
This week's menu will be:

Lasagna, single portion $ 10
Family size $ 45 (9x13)
Cabbage rolls: single portion 2 for $6
Family sized pan price will depend on how many rolls we can get in the pan. Usually a dozen or so.. Average cost is $ 36 -40.
Spaghetti and meatballs: single $10
Family size $45

Due to catering and existing pre orders we will only be offering baked goods at the farmers market this week.
Again, thank you all for the support. Its nice to know we have an entire community behind us. Together we will get through this. United we stand!

Hi friends. Since opening, Just like Granny's Bakery 8 years ago. We've seen the good, the bad and the ugly side of business. We've dealt with, and overcome many obstacles in those years. From having our grease trap leak and flood the store, to an electrical fire that killed our stove, from freezers dying and losing thousands of dollars in inventory, to the Covid-19 pandemic and almost losing the business entirely. No matter how hard we got knocked down though, we'd help each other up, dust each other off, figure it out and continue moving forward. Hand in hand, United we stand!
Since May we have had to deal with our biggest obstacle yet. (Yes, it's worse than Covid) The construction on Prince Edward Street. With the road being closed and the parking lot entrance closest to our store being closed. We have lost well over 85% of our regular sales and completely exhausted all of our savings trying to stay open, during what is supposed to be our busiest time of year. No tourists, no locals and no foot traffic, equals no sales.
And the icing on the cake, is the construction isn't even in front of us yet. It's still down the road!
After serious thought, consideration and tears we have made the very hard decision to temporarily close, (Hopefully temporarily) Just like Granny's Bakery until the construction is done or our food truck is closed for the season.
Mel will be at the store this Wednesday to get ready for the last concerts in the park and Saturdays for Codrington Farmers market. You can still pre order online for pick up this Wednesday or Saturdays at the store, and Sunday at the market.
All pre existing orders will be done by the agreed upon dates for pick up.
We're very sorry to all who depend on our meals ect. But we can't keep the lights on going the way it's going. Fingers crossed we will reopen.
