Sick as a dog - a visit to Soldiers and virtual care for some antibiotics and hopefully will be on the mend soon.
If you aren’t aware, virtual care is a great option if your issue is not an emergency. It was fast and easy. Usually available 7 days a week.

I think we have success - just waiting for them to cool slightly before the taste test.

While I make pretty good dinner rolls, brown bread has not been my one of my successes in the past. Trying a new recipe and crossing my fingers. Looking forward to fresh warm rolls with homemade baked beans for supper(yes it should have been Saturday night supper by tradition but I couldn’t get my act together 🤣🤣)

It’s a beautiful day - gingerbread, pumpkin cake, date squares and chocolate peanut butter candy cookies. Family has arrived and a weekend for giving thanks will commence.
Happy Thanksgiving

Cortland - my most favourite apple. Good for eating and baking. Crunchy and slightly tart. So good with peanut butter, cheese or caramel. Perfect for a pie, a crisp or in a danish. Great in a fritter, a tarte tatin or candied. Probably good for sauce but I don’t love applesauce so not going to happen here lol. We love it so much my husband wanted to name our daughter Cortland. Weird and we didn’t but she sure loves them too.

Just starting a batch of vanilla in brandy (because that’s what I have) - now to wait patiently for 6 months 🤔
