✨ Sometimes inspiration is hiding in plain sight… ✨

Today I pulled out something that has been sitting quietly in storage for far too long.

Over 50 beautiful glass mugs. ❤️

Before COVID, The Ketobolic Kitchen was a busy, fully functioning cafe….and these mugs were part of that chapter of our story. They were used to serve drinks, they were beautiful, and they were a little part of the cafe experience we created for our customers.

Then COVID changed everything.

The restaurant chapter came to an end, and these beautiful mugs were packed away.

But I’ve never been very good at looking at something and thinking, “Well, that’s what it’s for, so that’s all it can ever be.” 😂

I LOVE thinking outside the box.

And yesterday, I looked at these mugs again.

Really looked at them.

And suddenly I had an idea. 💡

A REALLY good idea.

So today, they’re all lined up, waiting for their next adventure.

And let me tell you…

Today…these empty mugs are going to look VERY different. 👀😍

I’m not telling you what I’m doing with them yet.

You’re just going to have to wait.

But I can promise you this…

It’s going to be absolutely spectacular. ✨

Sometimes you don’t need something new.

Sometimes you just need a little imagination, a little inspiration, and the courage to look at something you’ve had for years and say…

“I know EXACTLY what I’m going to do with you.” ❤️

Fudgy brownie, luscious cream cheese icing, rich chocolate, and sweet cherries layered in a mug, then topped with a mischievous sugar-free gummy worm. Served with a spork because some adventures require proper equipment.

Salted Caramel Fudgie Brownie 😉❤️❤️❤️

We started with an ultra-fudgy brownie…Then we drenched it in our famous house-made caramel…swirled it with rich chocolate…and finished it with a kiss of flaky sea salt.❤️

It’s the kind of square that makes you close your eyes after the first bite. 😍

🌅 Up and on the road by 3:15 a.m.!

Today’s adventure takes us from Windsor ➡️ Truro ➡️ Stellarton (already checked off!), and now we’re rolling toward James Street, Antigonish, then Beech Hill Road, before finishing up at Tony’s Bakery in Sydney.

What an incredible way to start the day—the sunrise has been absolutely breathtaking, and getting to enjoy it with my sweetie makes it even better. ❤️

If you’ve noticed we’ve been a little quiet on social media lately, it’s not because we’ve disappeared!

The truth is, we’ve been incredibly busy keeping up with production, creating new recipes, delivering to our amazing retail partners, and making sure our products continue to find their way into kitchens, lunchboxes, and dessert plates across Nova Scotia.

To all of our loyal customers, supporters, friends, and the many retailers who carry The Ketobolic Kitchen products—thank you.

Because of your support, our little bakery continues to grow, innovate, and do what we love every single day. We never take that for granted.

We start with a deep, fudgy brownie packed with buttery macadamia nuts…then chocolate fills the cup…then a crunchy caramel of macadamias…
then crowned with clouds of Baileys cream cheese frosting…crunchy macadamia crumble…and a dark chocolate drizzle.😉❤️

Pure Baileys.
