this box was one of my favourites to make because of the unique purpose behind it! the customer wanted to surprise her best friend by announcing her marriage through a breakable heart box and I was so lucky to have played a small role in this beautiful exchange!

i absolutely love piping cupcakes, it truly is therapeutic! quick tip: i find that swiss meringue buttercream is the best buttercream to work with as it has a smooth consistency without air bubbles! SMBC is also a perfect option for those who don’t like their cupcakes/cakes too sweet!

my tip for using lustre dust on larger letter is to directly brush the lustre dust onto the mold. it helps with the damaged while keeping the whole process mess free!

this is one of my favourite sets because of all the pink and glam in it! a tip to get super smooth buttercream is to mix on low, using high speed when mixing allows to air bubble formation causing your buttercream to often look broken, I use my stand mixer and keep the spinning speed at 2 (max 4)

i think a classic bright red has to be my favourite colour for my hearts! i personally use red chocolate melts for my red colour chocolate orders. i heat up the chocolate at 30 second intervals and then use vegetable oil to achieve a smooth consistency for the chocolate❣️
