I wanted to share that I’m taking this summer off as I’ve recently moved (within the Golden area) and need some time to get settled in and re-establish my decorating area.

Hippity Hoppity — Easter Treats Are Here🐣🐰

Spring has sprung, and so have my adorable Easter decorated sugar cookies! From sweet little bunnies to cute chicks, and covered in icing magic — I've got something to make every-bunny smile!

This Saturday, I’ll be hopping over to the Farmers Market at the Senior Centre with all my Easter cookie goodies in tow. Come say hi, grab some treats, and pick up the perfect sweet addition to your Easter baskets or brunch tables.

Grief looks different for everyone. There’s no right way to navigate the loss of a loved one—only the path that feels most natural to the person walking it.

Recently, I had the privilege of making a set of decorated sugar cookies for someone who just lost her mom. With each design, I hoped to capture a bit of beauty, warmth, and love—small images that might bring a moment of comfort in a difficult time.

While cookies can’t take away pain, I believe that little things, made with care, can help remind us that we’re not alone. I hope these sweet creations bring her even a small piece of healing.

In December, my son reached out to me with a special request—to help honor the memory of a beloved furry friend who crossed the rainbow bridge during the holiday season. It was a bittersweet moment, filled with love, loss, and the reminder of how deeply pets touch our lives.

I took this as an opportunity to pour my heart into something meaningful and to practice my hand-painting skills in the process. These cookies were the result—a small tribute to a life well-loved and deeply missed.

Creating them was more than just decorating; it was a way to capture the love, joy, and companionship that this special pet brought into the world. Grief is love with nowhere to go, and I hope these cookies helped provide a little comfort and a sweet way to remember.

To all who have lost a cherished pet, my heart is with you. They may be gone, but their paw prints stay on our hearts forever.
