Prairie Toons Orchard & Bakery Celebrating 100 years of family farming, we honour our roots with sustainable agriculture, ethical livestock raising and farm fresh food.

Join us as we nurture the land, create wholesome food and carry our family's legacy forward. We also have alpacas, chickens, peacocks, three dogs and a number of cats on our farm. Our chickens are free-range, grain fed and provide us with eggs. Our peacocks are free-range as well, and provide us with beautiful feathers. Our alpacas share with us their fleeces which are sheared annually in the spring here on our farm and this is turn is made into many different products, including cozy socks!

These farm grown ingredients are the star of the show in our Loaded Baked Potato soup - sold frozen by the 1L size … We have had customers ask for the return of this soup with autumn coming up.

The flavour of this new jam totally makes up for my lack of photography skills … introducing one of our newest flavours of jams!!

Raspberry Jalapeno!! Raspberry yumminess with the heat of jalapeño’s!

You could eat it like traditional jam on your toast with peanut butter. It can also be used so, so many different ways:
Glaze for meats
Make into salad dressing
Brie topping
Burger topping
Thin layer in a grilled cheese with a slice of sharp cheese
Spoon over ice cream
Topping for pancakes or waffles …

We would like to thank all our wonderful customers for coming out to our orchard to pick berries and purchase berries from our cooler. This season has been a different one for us in terms of the weather and how it affected the growth and development of the fruit. Our fresh season is unfortunately done, as we sold out of fruit in the cooler last night. And the quality of fruit in the orchard is not where would like it to be for us to harvest more. The heat has really ripened the fruit.

For the rest of today, July 23, we would like to offer half price pail for YOU PICK only. Pics below are from the far end of row 16 …. There is some nice fruit but also a lot of dried fruit too. We are open until 8pm

Tomorrow the orchard is closed for picking. We do however have this years fruit frozen in our freezers for those who would like that.

Fruit is just about ready!! Orchard opens for UPick on Saturday, July 18th at 8am until 8pm. Price is $4/lb and we weigh out your pails.

We pick price is $7/lb and we sell those in 5lb bags.
We will have fresh berries available at the Estevan Farmers Market on Saturday, July 18 from 8:30am - 1pm that day.

*** please bring cash for u pick/we pick if you are coming to the farm, as the debit/credit reader will be at the market.

Direction: please find on by googling our business name and there is a map to help you with how to find us.

There are mosquitoes this year, so bring bug spray if would like. Just please don’t spray/apply near the fruit trees, as it can get on the fruit.
