Did you know this little girl grew up in the restaurant business?

Marquessa started serving at 13, working in her family’s café in Cape Breton along the Cabot Trail. Through university, she continued honing her craft at for nearly two decades before opening her own cafe.

Today, she’s the heart behind — bringing generations of recipes, stories, and love to our community. Many of your favourite baked goods were passed down from her grandmother.

Thanks for being part of a dream that started a long time ago. 🧡
