Hello beautiful people who have supported my business through our love of cupcakes!🧁
As you may have known we grew our family by one this year and I have been on mat leave. During this time I’ve been forced to slow down as previously I’ve always been working 1-2 jobs plus my cupcake side hustle.
This has allowed me the time to reflect on the business and why I opened in the first place. My husband and I wanted to grow our family for a long time but we were not successful for 5 years before we finally had Weston. Now I realize this business was filling that void I had of not being able to be a mother before, this was my baby.
From the conception of an idea to hustling at every possible market to grow my following and customer base, creating mouth watering recipes and pushing the limits on what flavours I can turn into a cupcake I was pouring my heart into this.
That said I must say now with Weston in my life I feel 100% complete that missing piece is no more. My initial plan was to take maternity leave and then return to the business but I now can’t see myself doing so. I absolutely love my time with Weston and am not willing to compromise splitting that time between him and working into the wee hours of the night cupcaking.
So I shall be closing the “doors” on my business I have nothing but complete gratitude to each and every one of you who have hit “like” on me, ordered cupcakes, supported my business, even messaged me to let me know you ate a cupcake at an event and enjoyed it. Much love to you all!💕
I would end this with saying something like that’s the way the cupcake crumbles but we all know my cupcakes don’t crumble, they are moist AF😏😘
