🐄 We’re Hiring – Abattoir Helper (Part-Time)

Farmersville Abattoir & Market Store is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team.

Let’s be honest—this isn’t a glamorous job. It’s a dirty job… the kind Mike Rowe would appreciate. But it’s honest work, it’s important work, and it’s a chance to be part of a team that takes pride in what we do.

This is a hands-on position in a provincially inspected abattoir and meat processing facility. Experience is an asset, but we’re willing to train the right person with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Duties include:
• Assisting with animal processing
• Cutting room support
• Wrapping, labelling and packing meat
• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas
• General maintenance and other duties as required

We’re looking for someone who:
✔ Is reliable and punctual
✔ Isn’t afraid of hard, physical work
✔ Can handle a messy environment and stay focused
✔ Pays attention to detail
✔ Works well independently and as part of a team
✔ Takes pride in producing quality work

Position Details:
• Part-time (minimum 2-3 days per week)
• Opportunity for additional hours during busy periods
• Located in Athens, Ontario
