Cookies for Benny! 🍪

Hello everyone,
Craving Kate’s is hosting our first non-profit fundraiser in hopes to show some love and support for my 11 year old brother Ben and my single momma during their fight against Benny’s brain cancer.

Benny has been in and out of the hospital this past year undergoing multiple brain surgeries, chemo, radiation, and a feeding tube! His will to fight has been an absolute inspiration to us all!

Ben’s single mother has been his sole caregiver during Ben’s entire journey meaning she’s had to drop everything including work to be able to be by Ben’s side 24/7 to help get him through this extremely tough time. Thanks to a lot of incredible people we were able to raise enough funds through a gofundme as well as some local fundraisers to get them through their first few months but bills have started to stack again and with very frustratingly no help from E.I they’re left with no options.

My hopes are to help give them even just a tiny bit of breathing room as I know every bit helps!

Craving Kate’s will be offering hand made sugar cookies for purchase by donation (minimum $5 donation per cookie) for the next couple weeks. Cookies will be baked fresh and packaged for local pick up or drop off from May 8th - 10th. All proceeds will be going directly to Ben and his Mom.

Donations will be made via E-transfer for security purposes. Please message Craving Kate’s directly for more details and to place your orders.

I have included a graphic for example of what the cookies will look like. They will be 3” heart shaped cookies featuring a hand painted silver or gold cancer ribbon to represent Ben’s Brain cancer (grey) and childhood cancer (gold) with a “thank you” message beside the ribbon. Yay Benny has been officially signed! Thank you so much Arnprior Packers Hockey Club!! This means so much to all of us!! 💚🥰

🔰The Packers have signed Free Agent Ben!
On July 20th 2025 Ben was diagnosed with a large malignant brain tumour in the lower back of his brain. With further examination multiple other lesions on his spine as well as one more on the top of his brain were also discovered.

Ben has undergone two brain surgeries in just 5 days, one to remove a portion of the tumour that was causing a spinal fluid buildup, the second to implant a shunt that allows for the fluid to flow back to where it is meant to be. Benny still has a long road ahead of him enduring treatments like chemotherapy, radiation, and more surgery.

He is the kindest and bravest little boy you will ever meet. Even after everything he’s been through he continues to be such a bright light to everyone around him making us all laugh with his hilarious jokes. No matter how frustrated with his situation he remains positive and patient with all of his Dr.s and Nurses, it’s truly inspiring!

Hi everyone, my beautiful baby brother Benny who is 11 years old was recently diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour and has undergone two brain surgeries in just 5 days.
