Productive day in the kitchen… including finally getting my custom spice rack built! Now to fill the rest of the jars!

Added 6 pints and 1 1/2 pint of frog balls and 7 quarts of turkey soup to the pantry as well!

Never tried frog balls before, but found the recipe and needed something to do with my brussels sprouts so gave it a try. They look so yummy.

Thanksgiving dinner was postponed because I was away last weekend however I wanted to still share…

I often get questioned if I actually use the stuff I preserve (canned or dehydrated)… although I did have to go to the store to get vanilla ice cream to go with the homemade apple pie, I was able to go shopping in my basement for most ingredients. And what I don’t have preserved in jars, I have a stock in the freezer. 

I am very thankful that I have learned the skill to preserve my own food in multiple ways and know exactly what goes into each jar. Can’t wait to host Thanksgiving dinner later today! 

One day, my dream is to have a cow so I won’t have to go to the grocery store for my dairy! 😊
