Making this cake was fun, with all the little jungle details. The delivery? Not so much because it was traveling almost 2 hours ago so it was a nail-biting affair until it got there in one piece! 🥵🥵

When my friend, ‘s hubby called for her cake. I knew exactly what it was going to be. You see, Odiri had been posting Bible verses that held deep meanings for her for some days before then. So, I started noting down the verses she posted for the next week or so, I made them into edible images and pasted them all over the cake. Needless to say, she was beyond pleased 😍 😍

I noticed these days that ladies 40+ tend to celebrate birthdays with praise parties with their nearest and dearest. I guess middle age tends to make you more reflective, more thankful and more keenly aware of the fact that you couldn’t have made it this far all by yourself.
