To celebrate my new page and to help promote my baked goods I am looking to sell Easter cupcakes! I have a few ideas which I have attached to this post but if anyone has anything else they were interested in please message me and I can see what I can do! Please let me know if you would be interested in purchasing some by commenting on this post or private messaging me the kind of cupcake you would most enjoy after a yummy Easter supper!

Option 1: Carrot cake cupcakes with cream cheese frosting
Option 2: Mini cheesecake with mini eggs and coconut on top
Option 3: Chocolate cupcake with cream egg center. With a chocolate frosting and mini eggs on top!
Option 4: You pick!

Along with the cakes for little bugs birthday I was in charge of all food. This including cutting the veggies and fruit and arranging them on trays and I also made dips from scratch along with mini cheeseballs (which were a hit!) Here are a few pictures of the snacks!

My final cakes made to date were for my beautiful nieces first birthday! The smaller one, made plain vanilla for the special girl and the larger cake was a homemade rainbow bit cake! The frosting was homemade and I got to test out my newest decorating tips! 🎂

My first attempt at an ice cream cake turned into a slight soupy mess due to the time crunch! The trees were made from candy melts and it was my first time experimenting with them! A chocolate icecream layer followed by crushed oreos and hot fudge for the cookie layer and vanilla icing with a whipped cream topping! Despite all the times up and down the basement stairs to the deep freezer this icy treat was worth it for my sisters birthday cake!! 🎂

Another non baked cake and I sadly dont have a picture of the full cake but blueberry lasgana cheesecake for my sisters birthday! With shredded white chocolate in top and a golden oreo cookie bottom! 🧁🍰

Next was another big job!!. This was my first time doing cake by scratch as well as my own buttercream frosting. It was also my first time doing buttercream roses! I practiced all week in the 40 degrees, humid weather (hence Mickey and minnie melting). After practicing roses all week I found a hack to put a chocolate kiss in the center (which actually made it more delicious) and use half shortening and half butter, which allowed them to actually form and not just melt to mush! After putting the cake in and out of the fridge and using fans and ice packs I finally managed to finish off this special anniversary cake!
Most of my cakes are made while sharing a small cottage with my 3 other sisters, my mom, my infant niece and 2 dogs. Between the heat, the people, the small baking/decorating space, and the sweating it can be pretty frustrating when trying to prepare cakes! However, I try not to let the frustrations overrule the end results! Do you guys have an suggestions for baking in small spaces or how to beat the heat?! :)

Next is one I am still proud of!! My first baked cheesecake. A boston cream cheese cake to be exact!! With a cake bottom, chocolate layer, cheesecake and homemade custard on top! This one took a whole weekend to make, bake, cool, decorate and enjoy, but it was worth it!! The chocolate layer leaked out the sides in some spots was it was delicious anyway!

Not a baked cake, but delicious anyway! A strawberry lush cake was the perfect way to start off that summer at the cottage and attempt my first strawberry roses. Since then I have watched videos to help keep them less square! check out this video to learn how to many them!

My third cake was for Easter! I was a little more creative with this one after having a few months if pinterest scrolling to motivate me. My ganache drops did not exactly turn out as expected, next time I think I will use a squeezy bottle! It didnt help that the cakes weren't flat.

Since then I have gotten a tool to help me cut off the tops evenly and learned to turn the cakes upside down for a nice flat surface!!
