I will be away from 27th May - 2nd June. Unfortunately I will not be able to accept any cake orders for the foreseeable future as my chief bottle washer is having his hip replaced upon our return and of course will have several months of recovery ahead of him.

I will of course update you all as soon as I'm available again. In the meantime thank you all for your continued support and kind words.

Client requested a variation of the 'Wildflower cake' to include red, orange and yellow flowers. Cake comprised of four layers of chocolate orange sponge, filled with orange Swiss meringue buttercream and covered with orange flavoured milk chocolate ganache. I do get some strange requests for cake themes, but this one tops the lot!! Client requested a 6 inch cake to include a beetroot, spade, wardrobe, exotic fish and a cardboard box. ( I thought I was on an episode of the generation game!!) Three layers of fresh blueberries and white chocolate sponge, filled with white chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream and covered in white chocolate ganache. Cardboard box and Wardrobe made with Rice Krispie treats and hand decorated. Each item had a special meaning to the recipients. (Oh I am also illiterate, however, in my defence I had completely lost my mind by the time I embossed the board)
