I've absolutely enjoyed baking treats and sharing them with all of you for the past year! Running this bakery has been so much fun a really a dream job for me. But like all good things, it must come to an end, or at least a pause.

I've decided to rejoin the education world and get back to my first love, teaching! I will be the classroom teacher for some wonderful kindergarteners next fall and therefore will be halting my baking business.

Don't worry though, it's not over yet! I will still be taking orders and shipping until April 24th. Then again starting May 14th-June 4th. After that, we'll be traveling and preparing for the transition from baker to teacher. So get your orders in now!

Had some fun time away from the kitchen this past month. Hosted our local duathlon which we affectionally call "Potato Potato". Created the winner medals from chocolate chip cookies so we could really bite into them and then celebrated with a red velvet cake for everyone!

Had some more family time in London with Jared's parents which is always fun.

But not back to the baking for me! With Christmas getting close it's time to start thinking about all those homemade treats you want to share without doing the work ;) It's never too early to start planning as all the goodies are great when put in the freezer!
