ЗНАЕТЕ ЛИ ЗАЩО БУТИЛКИТЕ ЗА ВИНО СА 750 мл...?

Бутилките за вино обикновено са от 750 ml (75 cl), а не от един литър (1000 ml). Откъде идва тази спецификация?

Капацитетът на бутилка вино е стандартизиран през 19 век:
По това време основните клиенти на френските винопроизводители са били англичаните, които обаче не са възприели същата система за измерване като французите.
Единицата за обем, използвана от англичаните, е "имперски галон", еквивалентен на 4,54609 литра.
За да се опростят изчисленията за преобразуване, виното от Бордо се транспортира в 225-литрови бъчви или точно 50 галона, еквивалентни на 300 бутилки от 750 ml (75 сантилитра).
За по-лесно изчисление е приета формулата: 1 барел = 50 галона = 300 бутилки.
По този начин 1 галон съответства на 6 бутилки.
Ето защо и днес кутиите за вино обикновено съдържат 6 или 12 бутилки.

Every year on November 7th, International Merlot Day celebrates one of the world’s most popular red wines. It’s also a day to encourage those who have never had merlot to give it a try.

The word “merlot” is thought to be a diminutive of merle. This is the French name for the blackbird, which most likely refers to the color of the grape.
Merlot wine was first produced in Bordeaux, France. Some mistakenly think that a different grape, cabernet sauvignon, is the most widely planted in Bordeaux.
This is not the case, however. More hectares in Bordeaux are devoted to growing Merlot than any other grape. In Italy, Merlot is the 5th most planted grape. The grape is the 2nd most widely planted grape in Israel.

Masterbaker has really taken to developing his Vegan skills and has presented an amazing Blueberry and Almond Tart.

Wine of the Week: Excentric Rubin from Medi Valley. Aromatic palate with well ripe red and black fruits, strings of cherry liquor, vanilla tones, toast and spices. 🍷 6lv a glass or 25lv for the bottle

Bottomless Bubbles on Friday 5-7pm... 15lv per person 🥂 Initial feedback from the masses last week was very good, smooth to taste not overpowered by flavour or fizz..

Saturday we are open as usual, no private party this week, Unless you wish to make one of course ;)

Sunday we will stay open until 6pm allowing for some ⚽️ and great value Shumensko Malt, 2lv during game time ;)
