No Easter egg hunt this year at LLBG, but… Easter donuts! These lucky colleagues rolled up their sleeves, filled their baskets and enjoyed the sweet taste of spring: a seasonal donut with apple-flavour coating and flowery sprinkles!

“Op 2 april zit niemand stil”, ook bij LLBG niet! Tijdens de nationale campagne ‘Kom van dat g*t af’ organiseerden we bij La Lorraine Ninove & Haaltert lunch walks onder ons motto :

🥾 een 100-tal collega’s trokken hun wandelschoenen aan…
🌳 …ontdekten een ongerept stukje natuur in eigen achtertuin…
🙋 …én babbelden even bij met collega’s uit verschillende afdelingen!

VRT, Sport Vlaanderen, Gezond Leven en het Departement Zorg daagden alle Vlamingen uit om op donderdag 2 april zoveel mogelijk in beweging te komen tijdens de actie ‘Kom van dat g*t af’. Die was wekenlang te zien en te horen op verschillende kanalen van VRT: StuBru, MNM, Ketnet, Sporza, …

'Dag van de Eclair' | Zaterdag 14 maart | Samen tegen kinderkanker 🎗️

Op zaterdag 14 maart 2026 organiseert KickCancer de zesde editie van ‘Dag van de Eclair’. Belgische bakkers met een warm hart verkopen die dag hun eclairs verkopen onder het motto: “Een hap in een eclair, een trap tegen kanker”! Het ingezamelde bedrag wordt aan KickCancer geschonken om onderzoek naar kinderkanker te financieren.

Als grootste bakker van het land wil La Lorraine Bakery Group natuurlijk mee haar schouders zetten onder dit initiatief, samen met onze retailpartner Delhaize. In meer dan 200 Delhaize-supermarkten vind je onze heerlijke eclairs, gemaakt door onze collega’s in La Lorraine Ninove, met veel passie én sympathie voor het project!

is in our DNA. For years, La Lorraine Bakery Group has been organizing challenging sports events for our employees. As local main sponsor of the 'Omloop Het Nieuwsblad' cycling race in Ninove (Belgium), we decided to go for a unique experience this year:

🏁 An exclusive bike ride on the Omloop course (including the legendary Muur van Geraardsbergen and Bosberg), right up to the official finish line!
👊 100 colleagues going the extra mile on their bikes, accompanied by two-time winner Johan Museeuw, connecting & having fun together!
🚴 A ravishing red peloton, all wearing our new LLBG cycling winter jersey
🍴 The classic LLBG ingredients for a great atmosphere: refreshments with our own products, pasta food truck & drinks, music, ...

LLBG shows ❤️🤍🧡 for cycling during Omloop Het Nieuwsblad

For the very first time, La Lorraine Bakery Group became local main sponsor of the opening classic of the Belgian cycling season: Omloop Het Nieuwsblad! With the finish line just 250 metres from our headquarters in Ninove (Belgium), it was the ideal opportunity to put our company in the spotlight. Our teams rolled up their sleeves during multiple activations:

🚴 Cyclo Day with 100 colleagues
Together with two-time former winner Johan Museeuw, we organized our own unique & exclusive Omloop-version on the real course, crossing the official finish line as one big red peloton!

🎉 Products & networking in the VIP tent
Many of our bakery products (mini börek, table bread, pasteis de nata, ...) were served to around 1,200 guests in the ‘VIP tent’.

🎥 Treats for the organisation
Reporters & stewards on site were delighted to see us arrive with an assortment of delicious patisserie treats.

👨‍👩‍👧 Employer branding stand in the public area
LLBG ambassadors handed out our famous butter sandwiches to passers-by, telling people how great working at LLBG really is!

🥧 Rice tartlets on the Bosberg
The next day, we surprised more than 3,500 cycling tourists on the top of the iconic Bosberg with a rice tartlet from La Lorraine. Ideal for recharging their battery for the last few kilometres!

LLBG maakt zich op voor Omloop Het Nieuwsblad!🚴

Heel wielerminnend Vlaanderen kijkt ernaar uit: de start van de voorjaarsklassiekers! En de eerste grote koers van het seizoen... arriveert op zaterdag 28/2 op een boogscheut van onze hoofdzetel in Ninove!

La Lorraine Bakery Group is dit jaar lokale hoofdpartner van . De hele site in Ninove begint volop in hogere wielersferen te geraken – zelfs de niet-fietsers! Onze patissier Luc rolde z’n mouwen op en bakte een speciale Omloop-taart: een gigantische fruitbiscuit in de vorm van een fiets. Een heerlijk vieruurtje voor alle collega’s 🥧!

Op de dag van de Omloop, vlak voor de profs strijden om de zege, verkennen we ook het officiële parcours en de finish tijdens een exclusieve fietstocht met 120 collega’s. De deelnemers zijn alvast in trainingsmodus om de kasseien van de Muur en de Bosberg op te geraken! 🪨

When interviewing our colleagues Annick (Belgium) and Beata (Poland) for their 30th (!) working anniversary recently, we found out they not only have love and passion for their job at La Lorraine Bakery Group. They both met their husbands here, are still married and living happily ever after! ‍👩‍❤️‍👨

It’s time for our traditional ‘Three Kings pies’! 👑🤴🥧

Traditions are meant to be kept alive… and Three Kings Day is one of them! Officially named Epiphany, this Christian holiday is celebrated on January 6th in many countries since the Middle Ages. Most often with a ‘Three Kings pie’, usually consisting of crispy puff pastry filled with almond frangipane.

The one who gets the piece with the porcelain figurine, gets to wear the crown and be king for a whole day! 👑 But our Belgian retail partner went a step further in their national activation campaign and also hid golden coins in the pies… exchangeable for a big shopping budget at their stores for all lucky finders!

To celebrate the collaboration, we delivered two 'XXL' Three Kings pies to Delhaize’s headquarters today. Tested to perfection and baked with passion by our team in La Lorraine Alken.

Enjoy… but you won’t find a golden coin in this one!

“It’s tiiiiiiime 🎤✨🎄” at LLBG means: we are restarting the production of our ‘Christmas bûches’! Thanks to the many colleagues who roll up their sleeves and go the extra mile during this intensive period💪, you can enjoy this delicious treat during the holidays. 🍰😍

At our production site in Alken for example, huge quantities of our amazing ‘Bûches Brésillienne’ are made every day. Our colleagues really feel their impact on this: from making the perfect dough to adding the finishing touches, each step is carried out with passion, love… and a non stop Christmas jingle in our heads 😅🤩
