What an incredible end of year we have at Gérard.
But first we want to thank our stagair Émilie, wish you could stay. What a job you did helping us out with everything from data analytics to rolling cinnamons.

We gained so many new customers! The last months are just trying to keep up with our production. We are actively looking for flexi's to give us a hand here!

We also pitched for grants from Flanders investment fund. Let's cross fingers for the outcome in January! 🙏 In the mean time we visited our good old CTO PJ at Wintercircus Gent. PJ now launched his very own business in AI modelling for the roofing business. Alway fun to catch up and we try to see each other still every month 👏👏🙋🙋

We are also very happy how fast things are moving and partnering with bigger customers than we did before for our b2b segment. Very cool to see how open everyone is to try our products.

The cinnamon roll is my own special passion project and I m trying to perfection it every day. Demand looks unstoppable so consistency for bigger and bigger quantities is something we work hard on. You guys made this product enter our top three selling product within weeks.

On the down side we had our first ever accident with one of the Gérard vans. Do we blaim the Colruyt truck or Friday 13th 😅

We got a Call from Saint Nicholas!

Yesterday morning, Saint Nicholas himself gave us a ring. Apparently, his naughty list is longer than usual this year! (Watch out, Marion) To make sure no one feels left out, he asked us to lend a hand with some big present deliveries during our morning route next weekend! 🎁🚚🚚

If you’re worried your little one might not make the “nice” list this year, don’t panic yet, you can just grab our delicious Saint Nicholas Box from Gérard Bakery! Beautifully packed and filled with way to much sugar, but for once that is okay! 🙃

From today , we’ve extended our order deadline to 6PM for next-day delivery! 🕕 No more rushing before 4PM - you now have a little extra time after work on Fridays to plan your weekend breakfast delivery.

So take it easy, and choose your bread wisely 🤓🥐

Attention! Everyone who orders this weekend will receive one of our freshly baked NEW cinnamon buns for FREE! 4th of October was Sweden's the official national 'Kanelbullens dag' so during this month we decided to enjoy ourselves with developing a completely new recipe from scratch. 🤓

We based ourselves this time on the real traditional 'kanelbulle' from Sweden, recognized by its distinctive look. Glazed with a delicious cinnamon sirup on top to make it even more addictive.☺️

Order for this weekend and give us your feedback! After, they will be put for sale on the website for you to start enjoy them every weekend!

Someone (aka Marion) had the brilliant idea to deliver to Knokke with our electric vans. Who knew that weeks of calculations on paper couldn't be trusted for electric vehicles ? Thankfully this point was well proven Sunday by our driver Joann calling me after his return from Knokke, telling me he had a whopping 2km's left on the battery. 🔋😅

I think a little longer fast charging might be useful this weekend 😇
Thank you Marion for being such an optimist and pushing everything to the limits 🫠
