That’s the whole story here.
We still do this the long way. Hands, a cold bench, butter that actually belongs in the dough. It takes patience, and you can taste that 🙌🏼

This Sunday, step inside a building that still holds its stories.🏛️
On Open Monumentendag (13 September), Het Archief opens the doors of this former Provincial Archive — a 19th-century cast-iron monument in the heart of Antwerp.
On the ground floor is Bakker Aldo: slow-fermented sourdough, viennoiserie, the smell of a bakery.🥐🥯
Upstairs, in a full cast-iron interior, you find an extraordinary w**e bar under the original gilded ceiling — a space most people never get to see.🍷☕️
Same address. Two crafts. One rare building.
