A sweet aunty ordered this cake for her daughter. Her daughter lives abroad and was visiting Dhaka during her birthday. So she wanted to make the day special. I’m glad she chose The Baking Pit for the event. Aunty picked the design and colors herself. She later called to share her story with me and appreciated my work and the fact that I delivered the cake in person.
These tiny little things mean a lot. Probably why I still keep doing it with a full time corporate job and a toddler.

This has to be one of the most ordered designs. You can choose any flavor for the base, topped with smooth and might vanilla buttercream with buttercream watercolor like swatches, our melt in the mouth macarons, and minimal handmade flowers… seems to be a good balance between decadent and modern sugar work. 👌
