I've been making these advent-style Ramadan cookie boxes for the past 5-6 years now. They have become a great tool to create excitement in kids about Ramadan, specially those who get them every year! You can get these for your kids to encourage them to fast and perform 'good deeds', and to create fond memories and Ramadan traditions. You can of course get them for yourself or to give as gifts.
Each box will contain
☆ 30 cookies counting down to Eid
☆ Assorted sugar cookies-
☆ A 'Certificate of Fasting'
☆ "30 Good Deeds/Act of Kindness Calendar"
How it works:
Each box has 30 cookies that are individually sealed. Each day at iftar after your child has completed his/her fast, you can reward your child with the cookie corresponding to that date. At the end of the month, they can count the left over cookies and find out how many days they have fasted. Enter the number and your child's name on the "Certificate of fasting" and keep it as a memory!
If your child is too small to fast, they can still be rewarded for any good deed they performed that day. Create your own list of good deeds that go with each day or use the 'Kindness Calendar' that comes with the set.
Cookies will be freshly baked for you after you place order. Please make sure to order fast, so you can get the box before Ramadan.
