Meher Agro is developing a fully integrated agro-value chain, and the next major expansion includes the launch of a modern bakery factory and sweet manufacturing unit. These new facilities will be directly supported by Meher Agro’s dairy farm and biogas plant, creating a powerful, sustainable, and resource-efficient production ecosystem.
The bakery factory will produce high-quality bread, biscuits, cakes, and snacks using fresh milk, butter, and ghee sourced from our dairy unit. At the same time, the sweet factory will manufacture a wide range of traditional and premium sweets—such as rosogolla, chomchom, laddu, sandesh, and milk-based desserts—ensuring consistent quality based on fresh and natural dairy inputs.
Both factories will be powered by clean and cost-effective biogas energy, helping reduce fuel expenses, ensuring steady production, and maintaining a low-carbon, eco-friendly operation. This integrated approach maximizes resource use, minimizes waste, and increases overall profitability.
With strong demand for hygienic bakery and sweet products in the market, Meher Agro’s upcoming bakery and sweet factories are positioned to become major revenue-generating divisions. These units will convert raw agricultural outputs into high-value branded food products, strengthening Meher Agro’s market presence and establishing it as a trusted, sustainable, and competitive food production brand.

It’s entity is located at Boalkhali Upazila in Chittagong District, Bangladesh. In recent years, developing nations such as Bangladesh have increasingly demanded quality food products. Meher Dairy: The Dairy sector in Bangladesh is improving and its demand is increasing gradually. Due to well maintenance, proper hygiene and care, Meher Diary has been producing good quality milk and supplying milk to the confectionery stores in Chittagong City. The Holstein Friesian and Jersey cows in our Dairy unit have high milk production.
Cattle Fattening: As the demand for meat increased tremendously in the country, Meher Agro Co. targets to supply good quality meat for the domestic market. Today, consumers are positively aware about cow’s quality and our team knows best way to fattening the cows by feeding pure, natural and organic food to ensure good health of the cows. Keeping Eid-ul-Azha ahead, Meher Agro Co. is working immensely to provide healthy and beautiful Friesian Breed & Gyr Breed cows to the customers on the occasion of Qurbani.
Poultry: Commercial Poultry Farming is one of the traditional business ventures. Meher Agro Co. raises poultry chicken for the purpose of meat and eggs production. There is a huge demand for both chicken and eggs in the region. So, we tend to sell our poultry products in the nearest local market or supermarkets. Meher Agro Co. is been in practice regarding poultry farming of Country Chicken and Fayoumi Chicken for few years. Fayoumi Chickens originate from an area to the south west of Cairo in Egypt and is a fair producer of eggs.
Fisheries: In Bangladesh, Fish farming is playing an important role to national income of the nation. Fish is a natural complement in the diet of people in Bangladesh. Meher Agro Co. is engaged with commercial fish farming and supply the quality freshwater fishes to the local market. Various types of fish species are available in our ponds e.g. monosex tilapia: Oreochromis Niloticus, different carp , catfish etc.
Agriculture: To ensure good health of the cows and high quality milk from the cows, it is essential to maintain healthy grains for the cattle. For continuous supply of green grass, we have cultivated good breed grasses like German Grass and Napier Grass in our own farm. Meher Agro Co. is planning to produce a variety of fruits e.g. Dragon Fruit/Pitaya/Vietnamese Jaina, Mango etc.
