This looks like fun if you are visiting Sydney!
"We were genuinely blown away!" It's opening night for Uked - The first play-along ukulele musical and even our dress rehearsal has got a rave review in the Ukulele Guide to Australia from Janet Raine.
"Honestly folks, the talent, heart and humour in this production is something special.
So if you’ve been thinking about it, this is your nudge to buy a ticket and get along.
And to my fellow ukulele friends… let’s prove that the Sydney ukulele community aren’t a bunch of fuddy-duddies who stay home at night! Grab ya mates, and your ukes and make an evening (or afternoon!) of it, and go and enjoy a fabulous show featuring our beloved Uke!
P.S. If you’re hesitating, don’t!
Worried about audience participation? Don’t be! Any involvement happens from your seat—no need to step onto the stage.
Don’t like traveling at night? There are matinee performances too.
Concerned about parking? With planning, there is plenty available, and after 7pm it’s unrestricted and free !
No excuses, my ukulele friends! Let’s show up, support live theatre and have a wonderful time together.
Hand on heart- I promise you’ll leave with a smile on your face." Janet Raine.
