There's a definite change in the air here in Woodend with Spring just around the corner. Crisp, cool mornings are perfect to drop by our popup in Urquhart street for some Bloody Great Sourdough ๐Ÿฅ

Grab a coffee from High Street and wander around the corner to our popup at 39 Urquhart Street, open from 8am until sold out, with our full range of sourdough bread, pastries and cakes. Not a local? No worries, just ask someone, they'll point you in the right direction ๐Ÿ˜

(yep, that's a thing) So to celebrate, Macedon Ranges truffle growers, Lucky Dog farm are coming along to make the best toastie you'll ever eat! Slices of Woodend Bakery Sourdough layered with lots of cheesy goodness and of course, REAL locally grown truffle!

Lucky Dog are also bringing along a supply of fresh truffles for you to take home and create your own culinary masterpiece - get in early as they'll be popular.

Chocolate croissants are one of our best sellers and for good reason. The light, flaky sourdough pastry is made by layering butter over and over into the pastry to form all of those flaky layers that you love. But the rich Callebaut Chocolate is the real hero of this pastry and we don't skimp on that either!
We'll be on our home turf at the Woodend Community Farmers' Market this Saturday so you'll find us there with a full team and full tables filled with everything you love.

What weighs over 300 kilograms and makes people happy? Bloody Great Sourdough of course! There's a whopping 300 plus kilograms of naturally slow-fermented, additive-free dough being turned into loaves, scrolls and pastries right now!

With four locations to choose from this weekend, that's a lot of dough and a lot of sourdough bread ๐Ÿฅ. We'll see all of you sourdough lovers at one of these markets.
