This will be my first Mother’s Day as a mum of two, and this year the juggle has felt more real than ever 😮‍💨 The never ending to-do list, the mental and physical load, the trying to be present for everyone while somehow holding everything together.

Every Mother’s Day brings a deeper appreciation for mums and all that they do - often without recognition.

Running a small bakery isn’t always easy; especially lately. There’s a lot that goes on behind the counter that people don’t see, and this year has definitely had its challenges.

But over this Easter long weekend, you showed up.

So many familiar faces, new customers finding us, people coming back for their favourites… it brought a real energy back into the space.

Moments like this matter. They remind us that what we’re building here is bigger than just the food.

We’re really grateful to be part of this community.

WE FINALLY HAVE A SIGN

I thought getting a proper shop sign up would be one of the first things we’d do… 1.5 years later, here we are.

Our new signage is finally up.

Growing up working in my dad’s bakery, I used to tell myself, “If I had my own place, I’d do this… I’d do that…” convinced I’d do all the things, and do them quickly.

But it’s easy to think that way when you have fewer responsibilities and more time.

Fast forward to now, juggling two kids and two bakeries, and the list of “things I’d do” is still there… just competing with everything else.

The gap between ideas and reality is real.
But slowly, piece by piece, it comes together.

And this sign is one of those pieces.
