Winton being home of Waltzing Matilda, started a poetry competition 31 years ago to keep the art of bush poetry alive and preserve our history, today the children of Winton and our surrounding towns did them selves proud. It was great to see so many children take part. Thank you to all the parents, teachers, govies, volunteers and community committee members that are keeping this tradition alive.
