Did you know cupcakes became popular because they were perfectly portioned and originally baked in cups? Hence the name! Another fun fact — cupcakes are often called “fairy cakes” in some parts of the world because they’re small, sweet, and bring a little bit of magic to any occasion ✨

The City of Canning recently held an Appreciation Event for their incredible Canning Cultural Ambassadors — community champions who help build connection, communication and cultural understanding across our diverse neighbourhoods.
