Position: Full Time

The hours for this role are approximately 38hrs /week with 4am starts, Monday - Friday's (No Weekends).

Responsibilities & duties include;
• Dough preparation including mixing, blocking, sheeting of pie base and puff pastry on a fully automated pastry line.
• Work on other automated equipment such as the pie line, sausage roll line and other usual bakery duties etc...
• Must be able to lift up to 15kg

Requirements of the job - Core Behavioral Competencies

• Reliable- Punctual

• Able to work in a team environment
• Work without supervision.
• Must have own transport.
• Fork truck License Would also be advantageous not essential.

Trades qualifications & Experience
• Experience with high volume sheeting would be an advantage or
• Working with Auto Rondo/Fritsch dough brakes.
• Bakery trade qualification (4 years trade school or on the job experience).

Baker – Pastry Specialist.

Working with our state-of-the-art machinery you will be responsible for the production of laminated and shortcrust pastry. The process is highly automated and will require someone to operate the automated lamination line, oversee the mixing of doughs, produce various pastry product to set specification enforce quality standards. If you have experience in lamination lines already or have experience with dough sheeters then this is advantageous. The successful candidate will have a depth of experience in the baking industry preferably in the manufacturing of pastry. Knowledge of HACCP, GMP principals would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will also have experience with operating bakery equipment such as rack ovens, depositors, mixers, sheeters. The successful applicant will work in a team environment and be responsible for meeting production deadlines and ensuring quality control meets the high expectations of our customers.

We are a wholesale manufacture that produces large volumes of pastry, gourmet pies, sausage rolls and pasties. We focus on innovation, quality and great service for our customers.

We are requiring BAKERS, LINE OPERATORS, PACKERS, COMMERCIAL CLEANERS and GENERAL FACTORY ASSISTANTS.
The hours for these roles are 4am starts, Monday - Friday (no weekends). Full Training Provided.

Duties for these positions include:
· Dough preparation including mixing, blocking, sheeting of pie base and puff pastry.
· Work on automated pastry Laminator, pie line and sausage roll line.
· Cleaning and other usual bakery duties
· Must be able to lift up to 25kg

Need to possess attention to detail, must be hard working, reliable, conscientious, work well within a team environment and have the ability to work with limited supervision. ANY trade qualifications or experience in this industry would be advantageous.
