Weekend #3 incoming! My last post about having five weekends in August accidentally set some intentions. It’s not that they weren’t real, all the things I love doing written down somehow made things happen. Dinner party catch up with friends with a Persian Love Cake stealing the evening’s attention, facetime with my bestie in the UK, Yoga with Yvette at the Sunday Reset session Warrandyte Neighbourhood House (highly recommend if there are still spots!) brunch Now and Not Yet , morning hike with Raf 🐕, a few house diy things as we continue to make our house a home in Warrandyte, and a bonus crafternoon painting session with Katie Morgan 🥰 Full to the brim and I’m looking forward to this weekend where I launch my new cake tasting boxes so my couples can try a range of cake flavours to pick a favourite for their wedding cake. I’m launching a different curated edit each month - The Signature Edit, The Luxe Edit, The Winery Edit (most excited about this one!!), The Floral and Herbaceous Edit, The Fruit Edit and The Chocolate Edit. We have FIVE whole weekends this month!! FIVE weekends to play, party and celebrate 🥳 So what are you waiting for? Host that lazy long afternoon tea with friends you haven’t seen for a while because…well life ☺️ That dinner with friends that forces you to try that new recipe from a cookbook you received at Christmas, that morning hike exploring somewhere new (bonus taking your four legged best friend 🐕), and if you’re like me, the zoom catch ups with family and friends afar.

In truth, this is a note to myself - these are ALL the things I love to do but feel pushed for time when most weekends are booked with cake orders or a market. But with an extra weekend this month, I’m going to give it my best shot to do every one of these soul restoring activities 💫

Looking forward to Warrandyte Riverside Market this Saturday 1st August 8am to 1pm. The table will be bursting and some new bakes for you this weekend 🤗

Signature carrot cake is on the menu, as it always will be, along with a tangy Red Velvet Cake, a Lemon Biscoff Cake (think lemon meringue pie in a cake!) and to continue my love of baking with spices, a Persian Love Cake. Also a new Caramel Cornflake Brownie that I’ve been wanting to experiment with for ages. And all your other favourites. See you there and let the baking begin!

In the last month or so I’ve got to know the amazing individuals that run Warrandyte/Donvale Rotary club. And on Friday we celebrated the members and all that Rotary Club Warrandyte & Donvale do for our community 🥰 - so it was only fitting there was a cake to help with the celebrations!

Congrats to the club President, Olive, for leading the club so successfully with Reg. Former club President, Rob, gave a heartfelt speech on everything Olive has done to keep the club alive and thriving, and will continue to do so for another term ❤️ And congratulations to the award winners, Rob and Wayne for their volunteer work, along with the new members 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Lots of exciting things planned for the next term and I look forward to being a part of it 🥰

In the last month or so I’ve got to know the amazing individuals that run Warrandyte/Donvale Rotary club. And on Friday we celebrated the members and all that Rotary Club of Warrandyte/Donvale do for our community 🥰 - so it was only fitting there was a cake to help with the celebrations!

I hope it feels more like a chat amongst friends than it does an interview 😬🤭 Because your wedding cake is as much a reflection of you, as the rest of your day. No matter how small the detail.
